Al-Najma qualified for the Roshen League, while Al-Hazem secured a play-off spot.

Al-Najma Club achieved a historic qualification to the Roshen Saudi Professional League after securing the second direct qualification spot and securing the runner-up spot in the Yelo First Division League (FDL) of Professional Clubs.

The 33rd round of the Yelo First Division League (FDL) of Professional was held on Monday evening, with nine matches taking place simultaneously, most notably the match between Al-Najma and Ohod. Al-Najma won the match 2-0, officially securing second place, raising its tally to 62 points, 5 points ahead of its closest competitor, with one round remaining.

Al-Najma joined its counterpart, NEOM, the Yelo League champions, in the Roshen Saudi League for the first time in their history, while the latter strengthened its lead with a 3-0 victory over Al-Adalah, raising its tally to 78 points.

Al-Hazem secured qualification to the play-offs after a valuable 3-1 victory over Al-Jandal, raising its score to 57 points, placing it in third place, 4 points behind Al-Tai, which is in seventh place.

The competition for the other three play-off spots is heating up between Al Jabalain, Al Bukayriyah, Al Adalah and Al Tai.

Al Jabalain defeated its guest Al Safa 4-2, raising its score to 56 points in fourth place, while Al Bukayriyah tied with its host Al Zulfi 1-1, raising its score to 55 points in fifth place. Meanwhile, Al Adalah lost to its guest NEOM 3-0, leaving its score at 55 points in sixth place.

Al-Taie kept their chances of qualifying for the play-off alive after a 1-0 away win over hosts Abha, raising their tally to 53 points in seventh place.

The list of clubs relegated to the second division was completed after Al Ain confirmed their relegation following a 2-2 draw with Al Faisaly. Al Faisaly secured their survival, while Al Ain promoted both Al Safa and Ohod to the second division after remaining in 16th place with 30 points, 4 points behind the relegation places with one round to go.

The 34th and final round of matches is scheduled to take place next Sunday, with Al-Jandal facing Al-Najma, Al-Safa facing Al-Hazem, Al-Bukayriyah facing Jeddah, NEOM facing Al-Zulfi, Al-Batin facing Al-Jabalain, Al-Arabi facing Al-Adalah, Ohud facing Al-Faisaly, Al-Ain facing Abha, and Al-Ta’ee facing Al-Jubail.
