From YELO to ROSHN… NEOM is writing history

NEOM Club achieved a historic achievement and officially secured its promotion to the Saudi Roshen Professional League as the first Yelo League club to be promoted to the Roshen League this season.

NEOM secured promotion to the Roshen League with four full rounds remaining, following a resounding 3-0 victory over hosts Al-Arabi in the 30th round of the Yelo League on Tuesday. NEOM becomes the 42nd club to participate in the Saudi Professional League.

Under the leadership of Brazilian coach Péricles Chamusca, NEOM is on the verge of winning the Yelo First Division League for the first time in its history, needing just one more win from its remaining four matches, regardless of the results of any other teams.

NEOM is currently at the top of the Yelo League with 69 points, a full 10 points ahead of its nearest rivals. The numbers reflect NEOM’s complete dominance this season, as it is the team with the most wins, with 21 so far, and the fewest losses, with just 3 defeats, while it has drawn 6 matches.

In terms of scoring, NEOM leads the Yelo League with the strongest attack, conceding 65 goals, while its net has conceded 24 goals, making it the second-strongest defense this season so far.
