Round 23 of the Yelo League for First Division Clubs
The 23rd round of the Yelo League for First Division Professional Clubs has concluded after three days of competition, Monday through Wednesday, with 9 matches played.
In Al-Rass, the first match brought together Al-Hazm and NEOM at Al-Hazm Club Stadium, ending with a 0-2 result for NEOM. Ahmed Abdo scored in the 64th minute, and Mohammed Bin Rahma scored the second goal in the 81st minute. With this result, NEOM’s points tally reached 50 in 1st place, while Al-Hazm remained at 42 points, dropping to 3rd place.
In the second match, Al-Tai and Al-Bukayriyah drew 0-0 during the encounter held in Hail at Prince Abdulaziz bin Musaed Sports City Stadium. Al-Bukayriyah’s points remained at 31 in 10th place, while Al-Tai stayed at 38 points in fifth place.
In the third match, Al-Najma defeated Al-Faisaly 3-0 in the match held at the Education Administration Stadium in Unaizah. Al-Najma’s first goal was scored by Bilal in the 5th minute, the second goal by Sila So in the 38th minute, and the third goal came through Osama Al-Bawardi in the 59th minute. This places Al-Najma in 4th place with 40 points, while Al-Faisaly remained at 21 points in 16th place.
In the fourth match, Jeddah defeated Ohod 1-0 in Jeddah at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium. Jeddah’s goal was scored by Hussein Moaini in the 95th minute, bringing Jeddah to 7th place with 35 points, while Ohod remained at 12 points in 18th place.
In the first match on Tuesday, Abha and Al-Batin drew 2-2 at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Abha. Abha’s first goal was scored by Kangao in the 40th minute, and the second goal by Abdulilah Al-Shamri in the 45th minute. For Al-Batin, the first goal was scored by Walid Al-Shanqeeti in the 32nd minute, and the second goal by Nawaf Al-Suhaimi in the 55th minute. As a result, Al-Batin moves to 14th place with 25 points, while Abha has 31 points in 11th place.
In the second match, Al-Ain defeated Al-Arabi at King Saud Sports City Stadium in Al-Baha, ending with a 1-0 result. Mohamed Ragab scored Al-Ain’s goal, keeping Al-Arabi in 8th place with 34 points, while Al-Ain moved to 22 points in 15th place.
In the third match, Al-Jubail and Al-Zulfi drew 2-2 in Qatif at Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium. All of Al-Jubail’s goals were scored by Vinicius, while Al-Zulfi’s goals were scored by Diego Miranda and Nawaf Asiri. As a result, Al-Jubail has 25 points in 13th place, and Al-Zulfi has 25 points in 12th place.
On Wednesday, the first match was between Al-Jabalain and Al-Adalah in Hail at Prince Abdulaziz bin Musaed Sports City Stadium. Al-Adalah defeated Al-Jabalain 2-1. Al-Adalah’s goals were scored by Nawaf Bu Amer and Anthony Okpotu, while Leo Sebastian scored Al-Jabalain’s goal. This places Al-Adalah in 2nd place with 43 points, while Al-Jabalain remains at 36 points in 6th place.
The 23rd round concluded with a match between Al-Jandal and Al-Safa in Al-Jouf at Jouf University Stadium, ending with a 2-1 result. Al-Jandal’s first goal was scored by Abdullah Maatouq, and the second by Hassan Abu Shaheen, while Al-Safa’s goal came from Mohamed Salah scoring an own goal. This brings Al-Jandal to 9th place with 32 points, and Al-Safa to 21 points in 17th place.
