The Yellow League of the First Division League (FDL) of Professional Clubs holds two workshops for coordinators and photographers.
The First Division League (FDL) of Professional Club’s Association organized two workshops, the first for media coordinators of the First Division matches for the new sports season 2024-2025, and the second for photographers registered to cover the league matches, through video communication.
Through these two workshops, the First Division League (FDL) of Professional Club’s Association aimed to familiarize media coordinators and photographers with the requirements, work mechanisms and other matters that must be familiar with in order to facilitate the work and ensure that the new season’s matches emerge in the best possible picture.
The two workshops came as part of the efforts of the First Division League (FDL) of Professional Club’s Association to improve all aspects of the league’s work system in an effort to achieve full professionalism in the new season, especially since the media aspect represents an essential pillar of the success of football competitions.
The coordinators’ workshop witnessed the attraction of a number of new media coordinators who joined an elite group of experienced coordinators, in order to refine the new coordinators’ expertise and develop their work in a way that contributes to the success of the new season.
During the coordinators’ workshop, the media regulations of the First Division League (FDL) of Professional Club’s Association for the new season 2024-2025 were reviewed, which include many aspects, most notably the conditions for issuing identification cards for media personnel, the tasks of the media coordinator during matches, the mechanism for receiving media attendance at matches, in addition to the mechanism for quick meetings. On the other hand, the second workshop for photographers witnessed a review of the requirements imposed on photographers for each match, starting with photographing the dressing rooms before the team’s arrival, through to group photos of the teams before the match, to photographing the crowd’s arrival and external events accompanying the match, and photographing what is related to sponsors and the marketing aspect in the stadium, and other tasks. Some photography mechanisms were also explained in order to raise the general level and increase the quality of work.
During the workshop, the need to pay attention to the quality of photos and to rely on selecting broad staff and professional angles was emphasized, which facilitates the process of publishing photos, with an emphasis on not being satisfied with official requirements and leaving room for photographers to be more creative to take different photos that achieve a wide resonance, which contributes to increasing public interaction with the league.
On other side, the Acting President of the First Division League (FDL), Mr.Talal bin Abdullah Al-Obaidi, thanked the media coordinators and photographers for their attendance at the two workshops, praising their passion on the development of Saudi football, which enjoys generous and unlimited support from the wise leadership and continuous attention from the Ministry of Sports. He also thanked the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for the support it provides to develop the competition and overcome any obstacles that the association or clubs may face.
The First Division League (FDL) of Professional Club’s Association is scheduled to hold a third workshop soon for managers of media centers in league clubs, in an effort by the association to enhance the development of media work at league clubs and move forward towards raising the value of appearance and media coverage of club accounts and facilitating all their needs for the attendance of their employees to cover league competitions in a proper manner. Which is appropriate for the clubs and the league competition, and clarifying the permitted work mechanism during matches for all club work teams in the media centers.
