Al-Hazem and Al-Adalah booked their places in the play-off final to qualify for the 2025-2026 Saudi Roshn Professional League.
On Friday, the semi-finals of the “play-off” for qualifying from the Yelo for the First Division League (FDL) of professional clubs to the Roshen League were held, with Al-Hazem hosting Al-Tai, while Al-Adalah met its counterpart Al-Bukayriyah.
In the first match, Al-Adalah secured a place in the play-off final after defeating
Al-Bukayriyah 5-4 on penalties after the regular and extra time ended in a goalless draw.
In the second match, Al-Hazem defeated its guest, Al-Tai, with a clean goal scored by Karim Youda in the 65th minute of the match.
Al-Hazem is scheduled to host Al-Adalah next Thursday in the play-off final for the third spot to qualify for the Saudi Roshen Professional League. The regulations for the the Yelo for the First Division League (FDL) of professional clubs stipulate that the play-off final be held at the stadium of the highest-ranked team. Al-Hazem finished the Yelo League in third place, while Al-Adalah finished fifth.
