The First League launches the new season’s football.

The Yellow-League of the First Division League (FDL) of professionals Association has renewed its partnership with the “Squillano” brand, which designs the Yellow League ball.

In conjunction with the announcement of the renewal of the partnership, the League and “Squilano” launched the official ball of the First Division League (FDL) of professionals, “Yellow League,” for the 2024-2025 sports season.

This ball is subject to official international specifications and standards, the laws of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and FIFA Quality Pro standards, as “Squilano” is a Saudi brand in the world of sports clothing and equipment.

The new ball for the First Division League (FDL) of professionals, features a thermal and seamless structure to increase accuracy and reduce water absorption, in addition to a Japanese polyurethane cover.

The perfect weight of the ball during use ranges from 420 to 445 grams, and the perfect pressure during use ranges from 0.8 to 1.0 BAR, in addition to its unique and distinctive design.

The new season of the First Division Professional League will start on August 19 with the participation of 18 teams, with the first and second placed teams advancing to the Professional League for the 2025-2026 season, while the third to sixth clubs will play playoff matches to determine the third qualifier.

The First Division League (FDL) of professionals Association announced earlier that it would implement the PLAY-OFF system to determine the third team to qualify for the Professionals League, starting from the 2024-2025 sports season.

By implementing this system, the association aims to increase the teams’ opportunities to advance to the top league, contribute to raising the quality and the level of the teams’ technical performance and continue the competition until the last round, in addition to increasing marketing opportunities and audience viewership for the First Division League (FDL).
